Rather than post a single packaged improvised piece like I've been doing, I decided this time to post a segment of an improvisational session. This particular session was recorded on June 20, 2023. Throughout the session, I play around with musical ideas and slide back and forth between musical concepts that are both familiar and less familiar to me. Experimenting with note combinations is part of the fun of improvisation. If I like a particular musical concept, I may use it in future improvisations or compositions.
