This piano improvisation was improvised and recorded on January 16, 2022. I had a difficult time figuring out how to properly classify this piece (ie: sonata, nocturne, etc). I felt it was too short for such a classification and not a good fit. I gave up and ultimately decided to classify it as a "contemplation", since that's precisely what I'm doing. I feel that's a good fit and I'm comfortable with that.
